Tina Stefanos & "Straight Ahead" is a 6 piece jazz / swing band which specializes in classic jazz standards. Consisting of Tina Stefanos on vocals, Paul "Taz" Bartlett / piano, Jose Rosa / drums, Harry Rios / bass, Gerry Miller / tenor sax, and Corey Powell / trombone, the band is a very classy act to add to any event.
Tina Stefanos, from Chicago, has sung in a number of jazz groups before becoming a founding member of Straight Ahead and is, according to the Jazz Society of Central Florida, a "voice to be heard".
Although Straight Ahead is relatively new, collectively, members of Straight Ahead have performed with Al Hirt, Arturo Sandoval, The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, Michael Andrews & Swingerhead, Bob Hope, The Blues Brothers, Aaron Neville, Patti LaBelle, Kirk Franklin, Tito Puente, and Alan Toussaint, to name just a few.
The band is available for private parties, wedding receptions and corporate events / conventions.
